Nova Systems have developed a market-leading, flexible and scalable mission system for the AW169 that offers full Airborne Law Enforcement (ALE) mission capability from the copilot seat.
This allows ALE agencies to exploit the full AW169 cabin volume for security tasks such as the insertion of counter-terror troops, the transportation of K9 units and deployment of stabilised airborne sniper platforms.
Several ALE agencies were able to experience the high-fidelity, physics-based virtual reality simulation of an AW169 in various ALE configurations, providing them with the opportunity to validate ergonomics and provide ‘hands-on’ feedback.
