This approval confirms Nova Systems' ongoing status as an Approved Qualification Organisation, enabling the company to qualify and assure a range of advanced simulation capabilities supporting Defence aviation training and operational readiness.
Under the renewed approval, Nova Systems will continue to provide qualification and certification services across multiple platforms, including the P‑8A Poseidon, PC‑21 Pilot Training System, KC‑30A Multi‑Role Tanker Transport and MC‑55A Peregrine simulators.
In addition to being approved to qualify advanced flight simulators used to train pilots and mission crew, Nova Systems has also been approved to provide training courses to Defence personnel on acceptable methods for evaluating flight simulators for use in formal training programs.
Nova Systems CEO Dean Rosenfield said the approvals reflect the company’s long-standing role in supporting safe, compliant and effective Defence aviation training capabilities.
“These approvals by DASA reinforce Nova Systems’ position as a trusted partner to Defence in delivering high assurance certification services for complex aviation systems,” Mr Rosenfield said.
